Australian Inhibitor (AI) formed in 1955, in 2023 we are celebrating over 65 years of service supplying solutions to many crucial Australian sectors, including the Defence/ Military, Industrial, Mining, Manufacturing, Arts, Automotive and more. We hand pick our dynamic team from the best and brightest the industry has to offer, and always provide on-going training and mentorship of our staff to ensure we can continue to deliver on our promises and maintain our strong work ethic and client relationships well into the future.
Quality Assurance
Australian Inhibitor are dedicated the providing spectacular quality products to the end user. To ensure we maintain our high standards, Australian Inhibitor has invested heavily in an onsite laboratory and a range of specialised equipment. We test our products extensively before they are sold, to ensure they perform mechanically, and with our VCI additives.
Our specialist equipment provides results measured against relevant ASTM standards. We set the industry benchmark and strive to maintain and constantly improve. Working closely with extruders who are also leaders of their industry we develop a range of multilayer films offering increased strength, improved barrier properties and high-quality seal strength.
AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS
Australian Inhibitor has always been at the cutting edge of development. Our products have received prestigious Global Awards for Packaging Materials on three separate occasions – 2006, 2011 & 2013/2014. These awards are the result of rigorous laboratory testing with a focus on a wide range of Industrial applications. Our warehouse & laboratories operate from the Victorian manufacturing hub of Dandenong, allowing us to synergise and collaborate with many of the innovative businesses located in the area. Despite evolving the business for 65 years, we still work on new technological innovations and continue to expand our product range.
Despite our small team size, we provide a complete packaging solution from product design, testing & sampling through to production. Our team members include a full-time Industrial Designer utilising the latest 3D CAD technology.
